KUALA LUMPUR: Trading in Astro All Asia Networks suspended from 9am to 12.30pm on July 20 as it is considering various options to restructure company to achieve more efficient capital and corporate structure.

The company said in a statement that shares will resume trading with effect from 2.30pm.

“In this regard, the company has appointed advisers for this purpose, and has received certain proposals which the board is evaluating,” it said.

The company said the suspension was in response to The Edge weekly report entitled "Astro to sell Indian unit”.

According to the report, the company is hiving off its 20% owned Indian associate Sun Direct TV and returnings some cash to shareholders.
