Cepco tumbles 26% in early trade

KUALA LUMPUR: Concrete Engineering Products’ (Cepco) share price tumbled 26.3% in early trade on May 20 in thin volume in the absence of negative corporate news.

At 9.50am, it was down 87 sen to RM2.43 with 3,900 shares done.

The previous day, the share price jumped 60 sen to RM3.30, making it the top gainer.

Cepco posted net profit of RM3.02 million in the second quarter ended Feb 28, 2009 versus net loss of RM6.77 million a year ago.
