KUALA LUMPUR: Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) has awarded contract work worth a total of RM1.19 billion in relation to its RM11.3 billion national high speed broadband (HSBB) project as at end-September.

In a statement on Oct 29, TM said more than 200 local vendors had been awarded the work, led by the RM600 million contract for FTTH Passive infrastructure awarded to local fibre optic manufacturers.
