Green Packet said the only announcements made were in October about its Packet One WiMAX operations securing approval to launch services in East Malaysia and that it had secured the go-ahead to operate in Singapore. It said apart from the two recent statements, it was not aware of any rumour, report or any other possible explanation concerning the business and affairs of the group that might account for the unusual market activity. "With the continued business expansion, current positive uptake of the group's services by subscribers and in keeping with our customer-experience level, the company will continue to fund, build and expand the wireless broadband network in both Malaysia and Singapore," it said. RedTone said, after making inquiries, to the best of its knowledge, it was not aware of any reasons that might have contributed to the unusual market activity.
