UALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Airline System Bhd (MAS) is targeting RM2 billion in incremental revenue over 10 years from its SITA applications including newly launched flymas.mobi - where customers can book their flights using their handphones.

MAS managing director and CEO Tengku Datuk Azmil Zahruddin said MAS had earmarked RM480 million worth of investment over the next 10 years for its intergrated platform to provide customers seamless service delivery.

Developed together with SITA, flymas.mobi allows customers to book, pay and check-in and board their flight using their mobile phones.

Tengku Azmil said the main objective of flymas.mobi is to provide convenience to customer rather than cost savings. He said MAS would not impose conveniece fees on its customers.
