KUALA LUMPUR: Silver Bird Group Bhd has fixed an issue price of 70 sen per share for the third and final tranche of 14.06 million shares for its proposed private placement of up to 10% of its issued and paid-up share capital.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia Securities yesterday, the group said this represented a discount of about 7.89% to the five-day volume weighted average market price of Silver Bird's shares up to yesterday of 76 sen.

"It is not the intention of the board to place the placement shares to directors or substantial shareholders of Silver Bird and/or persons connected with them," it said.
