KUALA LUMPUR: Berjaya Land Bhd's unit Selat Makmur Sdn Bhd and Selangor Turf Club have agreed to extend the conditions involving the proposed acquisition of 244.79 acres of leasehold land in Sungai Besi from the latter for RM640 million.

BLand said on Friday, Jan 29 the extension was until Jan 18, 2011 to fulfill the conditions precedent.

The corporate exercise also involved the proposed appointment of Berjaya City Sdn Bhd as the turnkey contractor to build a new turf club for RM605 million.

"Other than the approvals as announced on Oct 13, 2004 and Nov 4, 2004, the other conditions precedent remain outstanding," it said.
