OSK sets up Cambodian unit

KUALA LUMPUR: OSK Holdings Bhd's unit OSK Investment Bank Bhd (OSKIB) has set up a unit in Cambodia to undertake stockbroking, corporate finance, underwriting, placement and other related activities in the country.

OSK told Bursa Malaysia today that the Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia had on Feb 17 approved and issued a certificate of incorporation for OSK Indochina Securities Ltd (OSKISL).

OSKISL has a paid-up capital of US$10 million (RM34 million) divided into 10 million shares of US$1 each.

It said, effectively, OSKISL has become a direct subsidiary of OSK Indochina Bank Ltd (OSKIBL) and an indirect subsidiary of OSKIB and OSK Holdings.
