MISC sets up JV agent in India

KUALA LUMPUR: MISC Bhd has entered into a joint-venture (JV) agreement with India-based Crescent Shipping Agency (India) and Sivaswamy Holdings Pvt Ltd, to form a JV entity that will be designated as the sole and exclusive shipping agent for MISC in India.

In a statement on Thursday, March 11, MISC said it would hold a 60% stake in MISC Agencies India Pvt Ltd while Crescent Shipping and Sivaswamy would hold 15% and 25%, respectively.
