What's up at Genetec? Slides after hitting 52-wk high

KUALA LUMPUR: Gentec Technology Bhd shares slid as much as 11.5 sen in afternoon trade on Monday, March 15, after hitting a 52-week high of 73 sen earlier in the morning.

At 3.21pm, it is down 11.5 sen to 49 sen with 23.5 million shares done. It had hit a high of 73 sen around 9.10am and has been sliding since then.

There has been no adverse news about the company. Last Friday, it proposed to undertake a bonus issue of up to 127.89 million shares on the basis of one bonus share for every one existing share held.

The largest shareholder is Atis Corp which holds 39.91% or 48.25 million shares while Chin Kem Weng holds 21.59% or 26.1 million shares.
