EON Cap EGM: Resolutions to appoint new directors passed

KUALA LUMPUR: All seven resolutions to appoint additional directors to the board of EON Capital Bhd were passed at the EGM on Monday, March 15.

The seven new directors are Tengku Ahmad Faisal Tengku Ibrahim, Tengku Azman Ibni Sultan Abu Bakar, Haron Siraj, Zaha Rina Zahari, Wee Hoe Soon @ Gooi Hoe Soon, Nicholas John Lough @ Sharif Lough Abdullah and Ahmad Riza Basir.

The request for the EGM to appoint the directors were put forward by EON Cap shareholders Kualapura (M) Sdn Bhd and Lintang Emas Sdn Bhd.

According to Tengku Zafrul Aziz of Kenanga Investment Bank Bhd, who is is the adviser to Kualapura and Lintang Emas, six of the resolutions were passed when they received 69.21% of the votes cast while Gooi received 97%.
