Fujitsu appoints Lew as president of M'sian ops

KUALA LUMPUR: Fujitsu, IT-based business solutions provider, has appointed Charles Lew as president of Fujitsu Malaysia.

In a statement on Wednesday, March 17, Fujitsu said Lew would report to Lawrence Wee, regional CEO of Fujitsu Asia, and replaces Masaya Motegi who has assumed a new leadership position within the Fujitsu group.

It said Lew had more than 20 years of management and consulting experience in IT software and services companies. Prior to joining Fujitsu Asia, he was managing director, Asia Pacific for Exact International, where he was responsible for its 12 subsidiaries in 10 countries.

Before his appointment at Exact, he was a consulting partner at Deloitte & Touche and executive director at PriceWaterhouseCoopers Consulting.
