FBM KLCI futures open firmer in early trading

KUALA LUMPUR: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened mostly firmer in early trading Tuesday in line with the cash market, dealers said.

At 9.35am, March 2010 gained 0.5 of a point to 1,325.0, April 2010 firmed 1.0 point to 1,328, June 2010 slipped 0.5 of a point to 1,324 and September 2010 rose 1.0 point to 1,324.

Turnover stood at 1,853 lots while open interest amounted to 29,121 contracts.

The underlying FBM KLCI stood at 1,322.46, up 3.25 points. -- Bernama
