KUALA LUMPUR: CCH Malaysia, part of Amsterdam-based Wolters Kluwer group, has launched a new research platform, the IntelliConnect, to help improve the workflow of its customers, who are mainly tax and accounting firms and the corporate sector.

The online research platform enables subscribers to search for premier content in CCH’s database with faster and easier navigation. Customers will be able to customise their searches to their own needs with newly added features and enhanced search functions.

CCH Asia Pte Ltd managing director (South Asia) Jonathan Seifman said it had seen good feedback on IntelliConnect from its customers when it was launched in the US in April.

He said the Wolters Kluwer group had invested US$150 million (RM525 million) in the new research platform, and expected many business opportunities with the product.

“We are targeting existing customers to migrate across (to the IntelliConnect platform from current DynaWeb platform). We would also like to offer our customers who buy our information services in print the ability to move to the online platform.

“We see this as a great opportunity for us to make the biggest splash in the Malaysia market,” Seifman told reporters after the launch here on June 16.

The launch of IntelliConnect was held simultaneously in Malaysia , Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong and Japan.

CCH provides business solutions and information services to tax, accounting, human resources, legal and business professionals across Asia.
