KUALA LUMPUR: KUMPULAN JETSON BHD []'s shares rebounded on Thursday, July 15 after tumbling on Wednesday amid fears of a boardroom tussle, as the company temporarily halted trading of its shares to announce the surprise retraction of a director's earlier resignation.
At 9.50am Thursday, Jetson rose 24 sen to RM1.35 with 6.61 million shares done, while its loan stocks gained 29 sen to EM1.40 and its warrants up 28 sen to 66 sen.
In an announcement on Wednesday, Jetson said an independent director, Mohd Najib Abdul Aziz, had retracted his resignation that was announced to Bursa Malaysia Securities on July 7.
Jetson said a board meeting scheduled for Thursday "will also now discuss the implications of Mohd Najib's resignation and retraction".
