KUALA LUMPUR: Automobile company Citroën has appointed Naza Euro Motors, a subsidiary of the Naza group, the official distributor of the Citroen brand in Malaysia with effect from Jan 1. In a statement yesterday, Naza group of companies’ joint group executive chairman SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin said the appointment was another milestone for the Naza group. “Citroën has a rich heritage in innovation and TECHNOLOGY [] and we are proud to represent a brand with such history and prestige. “We believe there is sufficient demand for the brand’s products in Malaysia and with the right strategy, we are confident of realising Citroën’s full potential in this market,” he said. He added that Naza Euro Motors would launch a Citroën 3S outlet in the Klang Valley by end-February and plan other new Citroën 3S centres in the northern and southern regions in the coming months. “We have also launched a dedicated call centre for existing and new Citroën customers,” Nasarudin said.
