KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 27): Pulse Group PLC has secured the brand audit engagement contract from the Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA) for Iskandar Malaysia.

Pulse Group chief executive officer Bob Chua said on Friday said the company viewed the project, which is in the southern development corridor of Johor, as very exciting as its experience with various corridors and country branding projects are growing from strength to strength.

“There is an increased need in assisting our clients globally develop the most appropriate branding and measurement techniques to increase the awareness, attractiveness, and ROI’s (returns on investments) of their activities,” he said.

Iskandar Malaysia is one of the catalyst developments to spur the growth of the Malaysian economy. It covers 221,634 ha (2,217 sq km) of land area in Johor. The development region is about three times the size of Singapore and two times the size of Hong Kong.
