| Chua accuses Ong of having no plans to revive MCA |

KUALA LUMPUR: Suspended MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek and his supporters have accused party president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat of having no plans to revive MCA since the party elections last year. • That the members of the general assembly have no confidence in the leadership of Ong; • That the decision of the presidential council of Aug 26, 2009 (accepting the recommendation of the disciplinary board) and the subsequent decision of the central committee (if any) to expel or suspend Chua from MCA is hereby annulled; • That following the passage of resolution (2) above, Chua be rightfully restored to the position of deputy president of MCA; • That if by the time the EGM is called, any appointment that has been made by the central committee in accordance with the constitution of the MCA of any party officials mentioned in Article 20 of the constitution, including that of the deputy president of MCA, be and is hereby revoked; • That if by the time the EGM is called, any disciplinary action that is taken against any or all of the requisitionists by any member of MCA, the disciplinary board, the central committee or the presidential council or if any sentence has been meted out, the general assembly hereby resolves: 1. that any and all such disciplinary action be dismissed;
