Highlights of PAC report into Port Klang Free Zone scandal

* PKFZ fiasco: PM says no cover-up of witnesses in probe, special task force to take into account PAC report.

* PAC recommends probe into three letters issued by former Transport Minister Chan Kong Choy over Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) since they were issued without Ministry of Finance consent.

* PAC says Port Klang Authority former general manager OC Phang committed misrepresentation when issued letter of undertaking without Ministry of Finance (MoF), Ministry of Transport (MoT) approvals.

* Public Accounts Committee says Port Klang Authority ex-GM OC Phang committed misrepresentation when issuing letter of undertaking that PKA would ask the government to remit the funds from budget allocation.

* PAC says appointment of Kuala Dimensi Sdn Bhd (KDSB), as developer for PKFZ, by Port Klang Authority did not follow procedures as MoT sec-gen and PKA ex-GM OC Phang failed to follow MoF orders.

* PAC says PKA ex-GM OC Phang signed development agreement with KDSB for RM2.246b without MoF approval and PKA board.
