PETALING JAYA: Bandar Baru Member of Parliament Zulkifli Noordin today walked out of a Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) disciplinary board hearing after disputing its make-up.

"I've written several times to dispute the composition of the disciplinary board but they have refused to make any changes. As it is unfair for non-Muslims to try me, I decided to walk out of the disciplinary board hearing," Zulkifli told reporters.

The vocal MP said the disciplinary board consisted of one Muslim, two Christians and one Hindu.

Zulkifli is facing disciplinary action over his public spat with DAP and his stand on the use of the word "Allah" by non-Muslims.

He said he had written three times to PKR but had yet to receive any answers.

When asked to comment on the 12 MPs who pledged their loyalty to the party, Zulkifli said he had not been notified.

On whether he would pledge his loyalty to PKR, he said he would decide when he is asked.

"The fact that I'm still willing to face the party disciplinary board should say that I still believe in the party," he added.
